Breakfast was similar to dinner, although smaller and with tea instead of
sake. One of my favourite parts about Japanese breakfasts is their eggs.
Somehow the eggs are cooked such they the whites are silky-soft and with
the yolk still runny, and are served in a nice sauce. You can see the
eggs in the bowls surrounded by a brown sauce. Hitomi is busy trying to
light a match and start cooking the breakfast "nabe".
