Hitomi's mother invited Hitomi and I along to a tea ceremony. This was more
of a tea ceremony sampler than a full-blown tea ceremony, as there were
many areas set up offering different styles of tea ceremonies, and you could
buy tickets to sit down at a number of them and get a bit of a sample.
Normally, "matcha" style tea is served at tea ceremonies which is very
strong, a little bitter, and goes very well with the accompanying sweet.
This tea ceremony served "sencha", and the tea was some of the most delicious
tea that I had ever tasted (sencha is a clear tea with normally a very light
taste).
