Governor's House

One of the sites we visited in Takayama was the old Governor's house. It
was an impressive complex, complete with a fascinating history. This room
was used as a conference room and could be divided into three separate rooms
(walls could be inserted where you see the dark lines across the room).
The governor's house also had rice store houses as the farmers used to be
taxed a percentage of their rice crops.
