Gerry wanted to try lots of interesting food while in Japan, so this is
one dish I suggested he try. The dish is a bowl of cold buckwheat
noodles topped with grated mountain yam (very slimy in texture) and topped
with a raw egg yolk. I think it tastes very good, but it is definitely
very unusual by western standards.
