Here you can see the huge crowds packing into the shrine. As I came on the
morning of January 1st, it is actually not very crowded and there was no
wait. At the busiest times (such as midnight on the 31st), there are so
many people that you can't move and it can be as much as a two hour wait
to get to the front of the shrine.
