First Solid Food

Two days before Karuna's 6-month birthday, we decided that the time
was right for Karuna to start eating food. We cooked up some rice
porridge (called kayu in Japanese), and mashed it to get rid of the
lumps. We waited until she in a good mood (right after her morning nap),
and then strapped her into her high chair. She is now ready for her
first bite.
