Wan-Wan

The Japanese word for dog (for children) is wan-wan, and it is Karuna's second
favourite word next to mamma. She loves dogs, and gets excited at just a
picture of one. We don't have many friends with dogs, so she doesn't get to
see them in person much. However, we visited a friend with a toy poodle and
Karuna went crazy. She spent about an hour and a half chasing the dog all over
the house, yelling an excited "wan-wan" when the dog would come, and an
exasperated "wan-wan" when the dog would run away.
