People doing "hanami" under the cherry blossoms. Hanami literally means
to look at flowers, and is a tradition during the cherry blossom season.
Friends or work colleagues get together and have a picnic under the
trees, usually consuming a lot of alcohol in the process. As Ueno park
is famous, has lots of cherry trees, and is right downtown, it is
very crowded during Hanami season.
