A picture of a heliconia flower at the botanical gardens. This botanical
gardens was very nice to visit as it was beautiful and it had a long
paved trail that we could take the stroller on. It used to be a sort of
cultural theme park, but apparently they somehow lost their license to
operate, and the property has now been taken over by the Audobon society
which runs a much more low-key operation. It is located just outside the
north-coast town of Waimea.
