Karuna has a "Mongolian spot" birthmark on her rear end (which will
probably go away in a few years). She also has this spot on her
shoulder which is called a "Strawberry Hemangioma". It also almost always
goes away, although sometimes not until the child is 9 or 10. The face
is the most common place that they occur, but luckily for Karuna (and us),
her birthmark is inconspiculously located on her shoulder. If you want to
