Going for a Walk

We took Karuna for a walk in her stroller, but she decided that she wanted
to be awake, and didn't like being in the stroller. So, I ended up carrying
her while Hitomi pushed the stroller. It was one of the first times for
Karuna to be awake while walking outside, so she stared at everything with
her eyes wide open. When we took her grocery shopping before coming home,
Karuna got lots of smiles and friendly hellos from the shopkeepers and
other shoppers (there is nothing like walking around with an alert baby
to attract attention and turn Mom and Dad into very proud parents).
