This is an image that I often wake up to (at 5:30am). When Karuna wakes up,
she usually stands up and looks at Hitomi and I (our bed is right next to
Karuna's crib). Hitomi handles all of the
night-time interuptions, so when Karuna decides it is time to get up in
the morning, I take Karuna and let Hitomi sleep in as much as possible.
I don't really like getting up so early, but a nice side effect is that
I have been doing a lot of 6am walks in nearby parks (which is actually
very pleasant as the temperature is comfortable, unlike the hot and
humid afternoons).
